Being Jade: Hey shorty, it's your BIRTHDAY!

It's scary knowing how fast time passes. In a blink of an eye, it's already OCTOBER! gosh...

Anyway, it's a month full of birthdays, including ME ME ME! Thank you all my dearest family and friends, who were there for me forever and ever!! <3

First up was Judy's birthday. So, we (the gang) met up on one Sunday, usually early for lunch at Spruce. They have 2 outlets, and we went to the one located at the old fire station along Bukit Timah Road. As usual, over-ordering! Food was average. The scrambled eggs were alittle over-cooked, and the poached egg was slightly tough on the outside. But the Mac & Cheese was good, we actually ordered another serve!

And because we over-ordered & over-ate, we decided to head over to my place for the cake cutting and for some chit chat session.

Then on 2 Mondays ago, it was the sister's birthday! Headed to our favourite Japanese BBQ place - Yakinikutei.

Our $38 plate of wagyu beef.

Food has always been fantastic at Yakinikute, especially the wagyu beef cut. The must try is their wagyu beef stick, ox tongue, shiso rice and the small vegetable salad ( forgot its name). It's more of a beef lovers' place, but pork or seafood lovers are more than welcome. They serve better than average pork cuts, like the pork belly or prime pork meat. Yums!
