I was invited by a friend to attend the movie premiere of Saving General Yang, at Resort World Sentosa last weekend. Special appearance by Ekin Cheng, Vic Chou, Wu Chun and director Ronny Yu.
It was nice to see them real life, and to hear them speak so fluently in Cantonese! <3 Ekin...
Saving General Yang is a story about 7 brothers saving their father in war. A true story from the rich Chinese history, telling us morals and values of life. A very touching story, a must watch for all war-movies fans!
A short interview with the casts before the movie premiere, where they share their best parts about the movie. It kinda made it more personal, and easier to relate to the movie. Like the part where they interview Vic Zhou, and his part in the movie - less than 5 sentences! Or Wu Chun's and Ekin's dangerous experiences during the horse rides. All in all, it makes the movie even more interesting to watch.

It's interesting to watch Chinese movies, because they always remind us of the important values in life we often overlook and the important important in our lives. Anyway, it's pretty bloody, expected for a war movie, so be prepared people! Be sure to catch it when it opens on the 04 April 2013.
